Re: Old Pics
Terrific photo BJ
I had a good laugh at how the styling elements don't quite go together.
Brando jacket + jeans + long hair + attitude = OK
Brando jacket + jeans + long hair + attitude + Honda foo-foo bike = not really
All of the above + Rossi MX boots = ?????
Yes will post some too

250 laws sucked even then - Parking Cops rode CB250T's, but I did port the hell out of it and could write "BJ" in rubber

I wore the soles off my flying boots in a week riding down the main street with my feet on the ground making sparks off the nails
Yes will post some too

Here's a suitably non-politically correct photo from 1976

Re: Old Pics
Don't know about Brando, I was thinking more along the lines of Eric Estrada from CHiPS!
Being shirt and jumper less as well under the leather jacket would have made you a pin up Manpower style, but it was probably too cold in Scorpatoria right?
Well, thats what my wife said anyway!
Cheers

Nice work chaps, Yep 18 - those were the days...
Still got the coat... (and another 10kg's - where did they come from?)
Wish I still had the car...
Oh... and the hair.

Re: Old Pics
Hi Peter, yes - I missed that, my brother sent my wife the pic a few years ago for one of those 'significant' birthdays and clearly I forget to edit it before I posted.
Having said that, and although I wouldn’t admit this to just anyone... it's pretty damn spot on to my thinking at the time, I used to be real arrogant little SOB.

That's really cool - If you zoom in he even has platform head-beaters on under the flares

Hey BJ
I jest you not when I tell you that those very shoes are in the VA Museum in London in the ‘Fashion through the Ages’ exhibit. An old girlfriend of mine at the time was in the ‘bis’ and when she was throwing out all my gear - you know how girls are, rid the beast of baggage, she pounced on them and the rest (including her when she got to know me better) is, as they say, history- literally.
