Joan Pons Trial school coming to OZ in march

Postby rockhopper » Sat Jan 09, 2010 8:32 pm

Hi all,

With thanks to Motorcycling Queensland, Queensland Moto Trials sub committee, Sherco and Proart rider training, internationally renown rider Joan Pons, will be Head presenter for 8 one day schools, with the help of Level Two M/T instructor, Lyndon Blake. These schools are to be held in March this year in Australia.

The Dates are yet to be comfirmed, but its looking like the 12th of March throught to 21 of March. The first four schools will be held in Queensland :QLD: the other four will be at Pacfic Park in NSW :NSW: .

The schools will be limited to a MAX of 12 students per day and will be grade based as this will maximise the training and instruction given on the day.

Keep a eye on this post as the forms, dates and costs will be released soon.

Regards Lyndon Blake

Hi Lyndon,

It is great to see you have been able to secure such a recognised world class rider with so much experience and knowledge to come over to Australia.
The timing of your Trials schooling week fits perfectly at the start of our riding season.
Joans spectacular riding and his very friendly nature made him an instant favorite with riders and spectators who were fortunate enough to see him at the 2005 Australian Titles and The Victorian Super Trial.
The chance for a whole days riding and tutoring with Joan is an opportunity that is rarely available here in Australia and should not be missed.
Your format of rider ability grading along with such limited pupil numbers should see all participants getting an enormous help in increasing their own riding abilities and an understanding of what they can achieve given the right direction.
Looking forward to seeing Joan in action again.

Steve.

Hi All,
Joan is a great bloke and teacher. I have trained with Joan a bit over the years and he has always helped me advance my riding skill.

I recommend that everyone does the best they can to get to one of Joans schools, it is well worth it.
To have tuition form a world class trainer and rider is too good an opportunity to miss.

Good work Lyndon and all involved in setting this opportunity up.

I will do my best to assist Joan on his trip and it will be nice to be able to help him as he has helped me overseas so many times.

Best Regards

Colin Zarczynski

Hi,

Yes i am sorry about WA, its more a time thing there as Joan has commitments he has to return too, Just to get him here has taken a while to sort and wait for a opening that he can come out. We did look at trying to get over your way, but time frame was against this vist.

regards Lyndon

Hi Lyndon,

I am glad to support such a good trainer and friend.

I have a property 5 min from Pacific Park that we can use for free if you like. Most people know it as the, Faraways property. It is cleaned out and has a lot of good riding there.

Let me know if you want to go there and i can arrange it.

Cheers
Colin
