Ty paint job

Postby Guy53 » Thu Dec 16, 2010 10:56 am

A while back someone put on I don't witch forum a picture of a twin shock TY with YAMAHA 1970 Yamaha Racing colour, i.e yellow with black striping. I won't say that I'm not interested in having my A model painted like that, but at least I would like to have another look at it. For the benefit of the owner of that beauty, I live in Québec Canada, so I don't think that we will meet with the same dress on the red carpet. Since I was a part of the 70'ssss I will at least upload that picture and dream.

Thank's guy's

Guy

Hi there Guy
I think I know which bike you are on about. Ty175 white guards, black frame, yellow tank with horizontal black slotted stripe graphic?
I will post up some photos tonight when I am on my home PC

Is this the one you mean Guy ?
The bike was painted like this when I bought it and the longer I have owned it the more I like it.
Cheers

A couple of "Yellow Breasted Twinshock Warblers" preparing to copulate there if I'm not mistaken. I think I see an unpolished valve stem there though boys, that may jeopardise a successful coupling!

Although very nice this is not the bike I am looking for, maybe was it on another forum, I have to tell you that I looked at the bike for five minutes and did not put the tread on my favorite list
I think it had a black frame.

Howdy Y'all,

David, if you have a photo of Robyn Eckert's TY175, it might also be of interest to our Canadian friend.

Cheers,
Your friendly Neighbourhood KawiMan,
Scorps
