Getting the bug back! (not that I ever lost it)

Postby bru21 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 12:21 pm

Its been 2 years and I'm getting the bug to join you guys again! :D

Between getting married and building a house I have been time poor!

Hoping to be on two wheels at the start of next season!

Now for the tough (and best) part - having to choose a bike!

Regards to all,

Justin Beall

I know the feeling! It's been about 2 years now since I was riding and I'll be getting myself a new bike in the next couple of months... Can't ever stay away for too long! =D>

I'm back in too! I rode a little bit of junior in the 90's and after a 13 year gap i'm giving it a go again. I've always thought about it since i gave it up all those years ago and i'm glad i'm riding again. I've been riding for about 8 weeks now and SLOWLY getting better!

cheers

My advice to Shan74 would be to go for a 250 rather than a 200.
There's nothing wrong with a 200 but if you are the average 40 year old and used to more powerful bikes you'd be better off with the bigger motor because after a while you will be wondering if you could have made that big hill tight turn etc etc.

I've been in the same situation myself and I did get the 200 but always wished afterwards that I'd gone for a 250.
I'm too old to bother now and play around with Classics instead,,,, now there's another thought for you
Cheers
