steering neck bearings on an RL 250 Suzuki

Postby lorenzo » Wed Apr 01, 2015 11:58 pm

I see several people selling a replacement tapered bearing set on E-Bay for the RL

It replaces the loose ball set up that Suzuki used.

Has anyone done this and does it fit?

I don't trust the E-Bay description when it says ( Fits RL 250 Suzuki) as it seams these days everybody has (Fits RL 250 Suzuki ) in their description .

Get the verniers out and get the internal size of the steering head of the frame and O/D of the triple clamp tube, them ask the seller what theirs measures, or go on to the PYRAMID PARTS, or ALL BALLS SITES and find a set to fit !

Thanks for the reply about the "All Balls" kit.

That's what I will do.
