TLR250 Fork Oil

Postby Gary B » Sat Oct 03, 2015 12:35 pm

Howdy,
I'm just about to replace some leaking fork seals in my 1985 TLR250.
The only manual I have is the owners manual which doesn't list fork oil capacity or viscosity.
Anybody out there able to help me with either or both ?
I don't want to start the job until I know how much oil needs to go back in & what viscosity.

Thanx in advance.

Looking @ the spec sheet you've put up Pgately that is for a mono shock? which is a bit different to what i think we are talking about which is a twin shock TLR 250

Hi I have just joined this forum , I am a Scot living in Thailand , I have just bought a Honda TLR250R which should arrive here tomorrow, I desperately need some kind of workshop manual
or and parts lists , I have raked the internet with very little luck , The bike was sold to me from pics , a roling frame and a box of bits ,the motor has been striped , I would love to keep this bike original
and was told the gear box is shot , Sir if you can help me as to where to get parts and a manual I would be very gratefull ,, Many thanks Ian..
