Australia's Womens Trial des Nations team riders made it safely through the final round of the 2010 FIM World Trials Championship for Women, the final lead up for the Trials Des Nations for women. Brooke Lonie and Kristie McKinnon completed two laps of the 14 section course, which is the exact same course the girls will face in tomorrow in the Womens Trials des Nations.
Ailsa Anderson, the third member of the Aussie ladies team, was set to start the Friday event, but elected to rest the ankle she injured last week in Czech Republic to be in the best condition for Saturdays main event.
Brooke Lonie had her first competition outing on the Beta 125cc machine, which was a little special as she normally rides Sherco 250cc bikes in Australia.
Having the opportunity to practice the course for the main event is a unique feature of the final round of the World Championship the day before the des Nations, giving the girls the chance to learn the terrain, the grip and even how the observers score the sections.
