With just 2 weeks to go before the 2010 event here is a bit of an update on the event, with a reminder about getting your entries in!
With all the rain we have had in the Barossa over the last few weeks the property is looking in excellent condition, with the creek also having some water in it! That's something very rare in that area for many years.
The rocks have also responded well to all this rain, and have grown quite nicely this season, as has the moss on them!!
All in all the property is lending itself to some cracking sections, for all riders and grades!
Entries are now flowing in, but just a reminder that entries do close in a week - last mail Monday 20th September.
If you haven't sent them off yet, make sure you get your entry in on time to be included in the programme for the event.
Had some enquiries about bike sharing - and as there seems to be a fair amount of interest in giving this event, and trials a go - yes, you can bike share for the 2 day.
Don't forget about the social events attatched to this event;
- - On the Friday evening (24th Sept) from 4.00pm at Taste Eden Valley in Murray Street Angaston for a 'welcome' night. Karina from 'Taste' will be staying open a bit later just for us, so please support our major sponsor of the Women's Cup.
- - Right next door (in fact joined at the hip!) Gossips Cafe will also be open to look after the kids, with a 10% off deal to all KMCC 2-Day competitors.
- - And on Saturday night from 6.00pmish at the Eden Valley Pub - 10% off all meals to KMCC 2-Day competitors.
- - All you have to do to get the discounts is to flash your MA licence.
On the Sunday we will also need observers, and with a few other events going on around SA that weekend - all help will be greatly appreciated. If you are able to please respond via this email address - the Club will thank you for your time by feeding and watering you on the day.
Look forward to seeing you all on the weekend of the event
Cheers,
The Keyneton MCC
