2020 brings a NEW ERA to TRIALS in Queensland...
Four QLD clubs are working together for the overall betterment and future growth of the sport, from both a riders and operational point of view.
Southern Queensland Trials Association, Trials Club of Queensland, Central Queensland Trials Club, and Logan River Moto Trials Club have brought the Australian Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in as our new controlling body and Insurer.
To draw a comparison and outline what this means for individual riders and families is: basically you drove your car to work insured by Suncorp, you changed provider, then drove home with RACQ or NRMA. No big deal really accept now our clubs can offer a more cost-effective fee which offers good coverage and more benefits for individuals, families & property owners – including $16.50 annual licences, family licences for $33, and $5 one-event licences. The clubs can also now offer free licences for those who are interested in ‘having a go’ at trials, this can be at any event not just a one-off come and try day, as it has been in the past.
Obtaining an AMA license is a quick & easy process, simply follow this link https://secure.motorcyclist.asn.au/…/ama-motorcyclist-class
Once licenced you can ride any of the AMA events in QLD on the calendar attached.
