Saturday 12th September saw three Australian women competing in the World Championship round in France.
Details are sketchy, other than to say Kristie McKinnon finished in 16th place, Brooke Lonie in 19th place, and unfortunately Michelle Coleman appears to have been knocked out of the results.

The girls said Saturdays competition was "hectic", apparently a great first lap, with Brooke, Kristie and Michelle riding well, then the heavens opened up and things got pretty tough. Those dry grippy sections at the Isola Ski resort turned super slippery and really took some points. The girls who started earlier in the day having a clear advantage in dryer sections. Michelle was disqualified for changing bikes - it turned out later to be a magneto issue that was easily fixed.
Sunday they spectated at the Men's World round, and Monday they are driving to Italy, meeting Trevor and Dylan at Darfo and picking up the Beta's on the way.
Both Men's and Women's Teams are staying together at the Hotel Oasis Verde and will be practicing hard for the upcoming weekend. The Women have training sessions with Italian rider Fabio Lenzi on Tuesday and Wednesday.
