The organisers of the Trials World Championship to be held on the 12th and 13th April 2014, are seeking expressions of interest from suitable riders who would be prepared to act as a Minder for an International competitor in the event.
Obtaining sufficient interest in this initiative means that we may attract additional competitors who wouldn’t otherwise attend due to the costs involved in bringing a minder.
Obviously, minders play a very important role, so we need to be sure that we are offering assistants who are capable of the task and are willing to work with a rider who may not necessarily speak English.
If you’re interested we’d like you to give us some information about yourself and perhaps a short
paragraph in support of your application.
You will need to:
- Be over 18 years old.
- Have your own capable, clean and tidy modern bike that will pass machine examination by the technical control at the event.
- Hold a current National Motorcycling Australia or FIM licence.
- Be physically capable of carrying out the task which is quite intense.
- Be available from Wednesday afternoon prior to the event.
- Be available to assist the rider, if required, at the end of each day’s competition.
- Generally assist the rider who is visiting and competing in a foreign country.
This represents a great opportunity for riders to gain exposure to International Trials, mix it with the world’s best and build a valuable network which could be of huge benefit in the future.
Please give it some serious thought, fill in the accompanying EOI document and email to me as soon as you can.
Closing date.15th December 2013.
Many Thanks.
