All is in readiness for the 2011 FIM Women’s Trials Australian Training Camp, the first-ever FIM camp held on our shores.
Headlining the historic camp is 10-times Women’s Trials World Champion Laia Sanz, with the Spanish starlet looking forward to working with the next generation of Australia’s Women’s Trials talent.
The picturesque Pacific Park on the banks of the Hawkesbury River, north-west of Sydney is the venue for the three-day camp, with more than 30 riders from Australia and New Zealand taking part.
An excited Sanz said he is looking forward to meeting all the riders and helping to develop and grow Women’s Trials Down Under.
“I’m really looking forward to the next three days, meeting all the girls and hopefully I can pass on some of the things I know and they can get better and improve their riding,” Sanz said.
“To have more than 30 girls coming to the camp is great to see and I hope this is a good sign of how strong Moto Trails is in Australia.”
The 2011 FIM Women’s Trials Australian Training Camp takes place at Pacific Park, South Maroota, New South Wales from 16-18 July.
Motorcycling Australia (MA) will be on hand at the camp, providing video and gallery updates on the MA Facebook Page.
