The biggest field of twin shock and classic bikes in the events history will be in action at the Western Districts Trials Club’s 30th anniversary Twin Shock Masters at Conondale on the 4th of November. Rider List attached.
There are sixteen entries in open twin shock including multiple Australian Champions and Australian Team Riders. Justin Gough will be going head to head with his regular side car partner Maurice Blanchard. Will they be able to hold off the likes of Boyd Willcocks and Lachlan Gibson? Or will the junior riders, Ruben Chadwick, James Wager and Tom Wager be in with a chance in this class field? Do the regular riders of Twin Shock bikes Greg Harding, David Lahey and Jamie O’Neil have a better chance? Greg Harding will be defending his title from 2011.
There are seventeen entries in Twin Shock Clubman. This will be a very competitive class. Riders will have to be very careful to beat the likes of Kevin Gloss who is defending his title. Graham Weiss, WDTC President and one of the founding members of Western Districts Trials Club, will be hard to beat on the club’s 30th birthday. Will the title go north this year with Brent Chivers, Mac Hosking, Drew Wickerson or John Sophias? Gary Underwood will be hard to beat. Don Rolands, and Tim Danneberg are in with a chance.
There is a huge field of Classic Bikes. Dan Gollagher will be defending his title, but he will really need to keep his feet up to beat Ron Chadwick, Tony Bax, Robert Leggatt, Peter Sampson, Terry Telfer, Cedric Van Heerden and Rob Wager.
Twin Shock Junior will be much more closely fought this year. Sarah Chivers will be taking on the boys Chad Gloss and Jordan Gollagher.
The new Moving Display class has only three entries at this stage. Bill Aland, Robert Ayres and Peter Limbert will be fighting it out.
