Entries are open on nominate https://nominate.com.au/mcycle/Nominate.aspx for Logan River's interclub Trials event at the well known Hinchcliffe family property on the Coomera River at Ferny Glen, 15 minutes from Canungra, Queensland.
All Trials riders are welcome to compete on our course of 3 x laps of 10 sections, laid out in the creeks and on the exposed rock outcrops that this property is renowned for. Recent floods have probably changed the old favourites into something new, much like the recent MTCQ event at Benobble.
For the junior riders aged up to 12 years, entry fee is $0 free, as entry fees for the young riders are subsidised by Queensland Trials sub-committee for 2017. All riders participating in the event will need a current MQ licence. We have 9 of the 'old' $55 MQ day competition licences remaining. Sadly, the $25 recreational rider licence is no longer available.
Please process your entry forms before the due date as we are charging an extra $15 for entries made on the day of the event. If you need to print the event regulations and entry form for a postal entry, click on the above link to download the necessary pieces of paper.
The section setting morning is on Sunday, April 30 and starts at 8am ish. After the lunch break, riders can do some Trials training at the venue. The latest Beta EVO 300 'super smooth' will also be available for testing along side any other machines the local Trials dealers bring along.
As always, we are seeking scorers/ observers for the 10 sections to make it an excellent event. Our usual T-shirts and Tamborine Mountain Bakery lunch will be provided to the observers as well as a chance to win the ultimate prize of a set of sheepskin Uggboots from Abi at Tamborine Dreaming.
If the weather holds out, should be a cracker of a Trial, hope to see you there.
