Hi Crew,

A cold & windy day greated a good role up of riders for Rd.3 of NSW TROY Series at Appin Motorcycle complex on Sunday July 14th.

As this was a 'Catch Up' date after a postponement all our Expert riders already had their bikes in the process of being transported to Perth for X-Trial on July 20th, But from Trial 2 right down to the gromms on Osets we had a good field of riders.

Jono Chellas took out the win in Trial 2 (A Grade), with Luke Anderson just 3 points behind, Jarad Boniface placed 3rd with Graeme Peace rounding out Trial 2.

Troy Houlihan & Kristie McKinnon fought over the honours in Trial 3 (B Grade) all day and it had to go to a count back of cleans in the finish with Troy manageing 4 more cleans over the day than K-Dog,  Andrew Trezise took out 3rd place.

Trial 4 ( 40+ riders) showed where experience counts with over 120 point difference between the top & bottom riders on the day. It's been 2 years since we have been able to use Appin and even though heaps of racking had been done, loose, soft, deep ,dirt played its part.  Gary Owen took the win in 40+ on 8 points, Stephen Hutchinson was not far behind in 2nd pace on 14 points, closely followed by John Waterworth on 16 points. Another countback of cleans was needed to seperate John & Cade Brian also on 16 points, but John had 1 more clean.

A huge field of Trial 4 (C Grade) riders was lead to the finish by Bryce Alexis on 16 points, Beau Goddard on a 24" Oset was 2nd on 49 Points, very closey followed by Matt Rose in 3rd on 51 points.

Trial 5 (Clubman) was won by Peter Ryder on 7 points, with Bill Guthrie in 2nd on 24 points and Peter Vella 3rd with 36 points.

Our Trial 5 Sub Juniors all on Oset's was won by Cody Zarczynski (very good genes there), 2nd place was new rider Cameron Woolley & 3rd place was Rhys Brian.

A huge thanx needs to go to Bob "Macca" McGlinchy for an enormous amount of work clearing overgrown area's leading up to the event & making it all happen.
