Jeroni Fajardo and Mireia Conde will ride the OssaTR280i in international and national trials events with Spanish fuel distributor, Petromiralles named as the main sponsor.
According to Ossa the motorcycle that Jeroni Fajardo and Mireia Conde will ride in the national and international trial races will not be very different from the series TR 280i that OSSA is already manufacturing at its factory in Girona, Catalonia (Spain).
It is an extremely light motorcycle that in outdoor race configuration weighs 66kg. (as specified by the regulations of the FIM - International Motorcycling Federation) but for the indoor trials it could weigh only 62kg since in this kind of race there are no restrictions as far as weight is concerned.
In addition to its light weight, OSSA’s new motorcycle includes a wide range of new technical features including a revolutionary two-stroke engine fuel injection system.
A young team with wide experience
Former world champion rider, Marc Colomer is the OSSA team manager, supported by Dani Oliveras as head mechanic, Jordi Dalmau as logistics manager and Melchor Estorch as rider’s assistant.
The riders
Jeroni Fajardo, now 25 years old, took part for the first time in the World Outdoor Trial at 16 years of age. In 2010, Fajardo came in fifth place in the World Indoor Championship. In the previous season he managed to gain second place in the Spanish Outdoor Trial Championship, third in the indoor trial series and fourth place in the World Outdoor Championship.
Mireia Conde was a member of the world champion Spanish Trial des Nations team last year. At 18 years old, Conde has a long career in trials already having started competing when she was eight. She was twice runner up champion of Spain (2008-2009) and three times champion of Catalonia (2007, 2008 and 2010).

Australia’s first shipment of Ossa motorcycles in about 30 years is expected to land in Sydney in the first week in February. Demo ride-day dates will be announced as venues are finalised.
