Professional Trials rider and showman Jack Field kicked some butt on the weekend in the Stadium EnduroX held at Melbourne Showgrounds.
Jack was the only rider in the Pro Class field aboard a trials bike, and he bought his trusty Scorpa SY250R home in first place in the first qualifying session, second place in the next qualifier (after dumping his bike while in the lead and remounting) and a resounding victory in the Open Pro Class main event.
EnduroX crowds and riders alike were astounded to see the Scorpa SY250R mounted Field toasting the Enduro elite, and he was met with a standing ovation after showing "how it was done" in the Main Event.
Jack said "It was great to take it to the best out here and show them what can be acheived through hard work, and the distinct advantage a MotoTrials background gives me. I'm really excited about the introduction of EnduroX in Australia. It's great fun for the riders, and a spectacular spectator sport."
Jack is heading to Europe in late 2009 to further his riding career, and has already hooked up a few sessions with the likes of Julien DuPont and Co. We wish him all the best, Well done mate!
