“Thanks to a mad professor, a castle and a lightning storm, the new Trials Australia site is now 'live'.”
It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here!
And who said I'd never get this done?
Way back in January I had some time on my hands and thought I'd set about redesigning the website. I subsequently started a competition to design a new logo, for the new site.
The competition gained early support from Paul Arnott at The Hell Team and Paul Mac from dialogue | m | c who each put up $50 for the winning entry.
Dozens of entries flooded in, and after a session around my kitchen table with my family we had five finalists. It went to the forums for a vote, and the winning entry was selected. Forum regular Nic Blair (motostar99) won with the entry now proudly displayed above.
As things turned out my spare time dwindled to nought, and the whole project was sidelined for some months, until now.
So with many thanks to The Hell Team and dialogue | m | c for the competition prize, Nic Blair for the prize-winning logo, and a small field of testers, I hereby give you the new Trials Australia. Go and explore, and let me know what you think (here).
