THE TAFFY WILLIAMS MEMORIAL TRIAL
Featuring the HOWARD WALLACE MASTERS SHIELD
Fairbairn Park, ACT, October 20th 2013
The Trials Club of Canberra’s contribution to Canberra’s Spin Centenary Celebrations has proved to be an outstanding success.
Fortyfive riders from NSW and the ACT, plus three terrific Minders, gave the numerous spectators a real positive example of what our sport is all about.
The TCC section setters came up trumps with eight wide open spacious sections that offered each grade a number of line choices. Glenn Crafter, Luke Anderson, Toby Coleman, Tony Millwood, Mick Rummery, Kerrin Phillips, Mark Walker and Shane Deane take a bow. Well done.
Trials Importers and Dealers are what keep us all going and it was great to have Paul Arnott , Don Murray and newcomer Martin Wright all in attendance. Just added to the positive atmosphere.
Please refer to the attached results list for the full results.
All riders that I spoke to throughout the day all had positive comment about the event and the venue. Son Bryan and myself circulated throughout the day answering questions and handing out information about Trials in general, and how newcomers can get involved. There were plenty of spectators around and hopefully new trials enthusiasts in the making.
